The Toxic Truth About Esco Bar Disposable Vapes
If you’re one of the millions of young people who turned to vaping thinking it was a cleaner, safer alternative to smoking—especially with trendy brands like Esco Bar—you may have been misled. A shocking new st
udy has revealed that Esco Bar disposable vapes expose users to toxic levels of heavy metals, putting your health at serious risk.
We’re here to tell you what the vape companies didn’t—and to fight back.
🧪 New Research Reveals a Disturbing Reality
A 2025 peer-reviewed study by Salazar et al., titled “Elevated Toxic Element Emissions from Popular Disposable E-Cigarettes,” took a close look at Esco Bar and two other widely used vape brands. The researchers weren’t just testing vapor quality—they were testing what you’re really inhaling.
What they found is alarming:
Esco Bar devices contain dangerously high levels of lead (Pb), nickel (Ni), copper (Cu), zinc (Zn), and antimony (Sb) in both the e-liquid and the aerosol (the vapor you inhale).
In fact, some virgin (unused) Esco Bar vape liquids had lead levels as high as 127,000 µg/kg—which is several thousand times higher than what is considered safe.
These metals are not just from heating coils—they’re leaching into the liquid from illegally used leaded bronze alloys inside the vape casing and battery connectors.
The researchers tested devices throughout their usage life. The results? The more you puff, the worse it gets.
💨 One Esco Bar = 19 Packs of Cigarettes?
Compared to older vape products (like JUUL) and even traditional cigarettes, Esco Bar delivers more toxic metals into your lungs—by orders of magnitude.
According to the study:
Esco Bar vapes emitted 4 to 13 times more lead in the first 200 puffs than an entire pack of cigarettes.
That’s the equivalent of smoking up to 19 packs of cigarettes in just one day.
And yet, these devices continue to flood the market, often without regulatory approval and marketed directly to teens and young adults.
☣️ What These Metals Do to Your Body
Heavy metals like lead and nickel are not just harmful—they’re toxic.
Lead (Pb) affects your brain and nervous system. Even small amounts can damage memory, mood, and cognitive function—especially in young people.
Nickel (Ni) can cause breathing issues, chronic bronchitis, and has been linked to lung cancer.
Antimony (Sb) exists in two forms. One is relatively harmless, but the other—Sb(III)—is a known carcinogen. And yes, it was found in Esco Bar aerosols too.
In this study, cancer and non-cancer health risks for these substances exceeded all established safety thresholds, sometimes by 400% or more.
👩⚖️ It’s Time to Hold Them Accountable
This is not just a health crisis. It’s a legal and ethical one.
Companies like those behind Esco Bar are putting profits over people, knowingly using unregulated, hazardous materials in products often used by underage and young adult consumers. There are no warnings. No recalls. No oversight.
It’s time to change that.
If you or someone you know has used Esco Bar disposable e-cigarettes, especially if you’ve experienced unexplained health symptoms—headaches, nausea, fatigue, chest tightness, or breathing problems—you may be eligible to take legal action.
